Placeholder Gameworks OÜ is a small, independent video game development studio based in Estonia, dedicated to creating meaningful and story-driven indie games. We believe that video games are one of the most powerful storytelling mediums of our time, and we constantly strive to explore new directions and emotional depths rarely touched by the mainstream industry. Our first major release, Death and Taxes, launched in February 2020, marked a bold step into narrative-focused indie game design and continues to inspire players around the world.
